Description
Frinton Golf Club, was founded in 1895 and originally was a nine-hole design by Tom Dunn and In 1904, twice Open Champion Willie Park Jnr. designed a new 18 hole course. This beautiful course boasting spectacular sea views and is a stunning par 71 course, with 6,265 yards providing challenging seaside links style golf that changes in character every day.
With five holes between 462 and 495 yards, and four holes of around 400 to 430 yards, the Havers Course is long enough and difficult enough to test the skill and nerves of any class of player. Do not expect to shoot par golf if on unhappy terms with a driver. Second shots are by no means easy and even after hitting the fairway the player must have control with every club in the bag.
This course is an excellent challenge to golfers of all levels of ability whether high or low handicapper and has plenty of hazards littered all across the course for you to test your skills against. You will need to display good course management, good club selection and handling skills, all whilst keeping your patience and concentration throughout.
The Terrace Bar is a relaxing area for quenching your thirst where you can entertain your clientele to enjoy their drinks on the terrace which has a fine view of the course and, in particular, the finishing, par 5, 18th hole.
